Looking Back: Ground Control 2017 Speaker Panel

Ground Control (now called LeadDev) was a project management conference based in London - I was invited to speak in 2017.

I gave my own talk as well as spoke on a panel. The panel was moderated by Brett Harned and also included Betty Chan and Sam Barnes.

I spoke about:

• measuring personal success as a project manager

• working remotely and building relationships with project team members who are not in person with you

• agile vs. waterfall mentalities

• when project managers aren’t appreciated or understood

• how to say no to a client, or working with difficult clients
